Did you hear? The James Beard Semifinalists are here!
Posted March 3, 2020
It’s that time of year: The James Beard Semifinalists have been announced, and our team has been glued to our screens to see all the nominees. From bakers to brewers, this list is full of the best of the best in the industry. And the best part? Some of our friends have made the list!
Nothing makes us happier than to see past Honey Summit attendees make the list. Last year’s Outstanding Baker Winner, Greg Wade, is a two time alumnus and long-time friend of the National Honey Board. And of this year’s 20 Best Baker nominees, nine of them are past Honey Baking Summit attendees.
But our list doesn’t stop there. Several other nominees will be joining us this June for our Honey Baking and Beer Summits. We look forward to meeting them and forming the same friendships with them as we have with all our past alumni. We wish them the best of luck as the James Beard list hones in on its 2020 winners!
