Happy Birthday, Alison!
Posted January 9, 2021
It’s been a big year for Account Director Alison Wuebbels-turned-Conklin. She successfully navigated her way through an unpredictable year in our professional world, along with planning her October wedding. We’re celebrating her birthday today with our traditional question and answer session, in hopes that we all get to know the birthday girl a little better.
What’s your favorite work trip ever?
My favorite work trip ever would be my first trip with Brightly Creative to Washington D.C. It was for the Craft Brewers Conference (which is also my favorite conference to go to) and Keith, Jonathan and I were able to attend. We were able to visit some amazing breweries, have happy hour in the Smithsonian and ride bikes around The Mall until 2 a.m. Any trip with the guys is pretty fun, but I think this one will always be my favorite.
What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done?
The scariest thing I have ever done was go cliff jumping at Kinkaid Lake. Not the most daring thing to do, and I have a lot more extreme things to add to my bucket list, so maybe I will have a better answer this time next year.
What is the thing that annoys you the most about your husband?
The thing that annoys me most about my husband … hmmm. I mean, we have been together for almost 8 years now and spent most of our relationship living in a 38 ft. camper together. We have found pretty much every way to annoy each other and also get over it. I guess it used to be picking where to go for dinner. Hopefully we can get back to eating out at restaurants soon!
If you could have dinner with one celebrity, who would it be and why?
If I could have dinner with any one celebrity I would pick Will Ferrell, hands down. He was my second pick to marry.
If you weren’t working at Brightly Creative, what would be your dream job?
My dream job would be to work on movie sets. From picking costumes to directing to seeing how they make all the crazy special effects, I would love every second of it.
